Paddling Techniques: Mastering Form and Efficiency

Step 1: Proper Positioning

  • Lie comfortably on your board with your chest down and hands near the rails.

  • Kick your feet behind you, maintaining balance and stability.

Step 2: Effective Paddle Strokes

  • Submerge your hands into the water with fingers slightly spread.

  • Use your core and back muscles to pull yourself through the water.

  • Alternate your strokes on both sides for a smooth and straight trajectory.

Strengthening Core Muscles for Enhanced Paddling Power

Step 3: Core-Strengthening Exercises

  • Incorporate exercises like planks and leg raises into your routine.

  • Strengthening your core improves paddling endurance and overall stability.


Breathing Techniques for Endurance in the Water
